Welcome to Fork Time!

Hi, my name is Kristi (more about me later) and I decided to create this blog about food.  I love it!  This is going to be a resource for average people to talk about food, recipes, and what other people are saying about food.  I think we should mainly talk about recipes that have ingredients that are easily attainable (as opposed to some chefs like Emeril who will use $200 cheese that can only be found in Italy.... but we'll talk about that stuff too).  All my cooking is done in my home kitchen in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.  I'm looking forward to sharing with everyone what goes on in my kitchen and hearing what other people are doing in their kitchens, as well as discussing what's going on in restaurants!

And remember, when you're finished cooking that great meal..... it's FORK TIME!

I love homemade biscuits and gravy but I'm anxious to hear about new recipes too. I can also tell you what they are serving at Cracker Barrel.....it's pretty good when you don't want to cook.

How delicious!! I don't know amounts but mix chopped sweet onion, mayo, and shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for about 20-30 minutes on 350. Don't use too much mayo, it will be greasy! Enjoy!

    Hello Kristi,

How do I "post" a recipe on the site?

Do I eMail it to you so u can post it? or do you allow posting on the site or just comments on what you post?

    Thanks

sorry about all the spam coming to forktime. that's what happens when posts don't have to be approved first. well, now Kristi will have to approve a post before it gets posted, that way no more spam will get through.
